Calathea Plant - Small

Calathea, also known as Jungle Velvet, is a pet-friendly tropical houseplant with unique variegated leaves with purple undersides. Sold in a plastic planter pot, we carry several varieties of Calathea, including Rose Painted, Medallion, and Dottie.

Size: Plant container measures 4" diameter

Water: Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out half way down between waterings. Water when soil surface feels dry. Grow best in high humidity. Recommend wet pebble tray. Dry winter air can cause brown leaf margins. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.

Light: Calatheas thrive in medium to bright indirect light, but can tolerate low indirect light.
