“Coral Citrus Coastal Wedding”

The Lodge at Torrey Pines - La Jolla

This beautiful seaside wedding was filled with vibrant flowers in some of our favorite hues. Tara and Mike said "I do" in a sunny ceremony held on the rooftop of Hotel La Jolla. The ocean backdrop was stunning of course, but our asymmetrical floral arch, bursting with citrus and coral colored blooms, set a celebratory mood as the couple recited their vows. The aisles were lined with our signature wildflower meadow floor arrangements, and the wedding party turned heads with their custom boutonnières and bridesmaid's bouquets... but none quite as stunning as Tara's bridal bouquet, of course!

After the ceremony, attendees headed to the Lodge at Torrey Pines to kick of the reception celebration! The bride and groom requested a whimsical, nautical feel with an absolutely stunning garden dinner, and we were happy to provide. Wedding planner Amorology coordinated the custom build of a gorgeous wooden veranda over the head dining table, which we adorned with gorgeous greenery, and hop vines (yes, as in beer hops!) throughout frame.

Each dining table featured lush flower arrangements in the couple's signature color palette, turning the lawn at The Lodge at Torrey Pines into a magical garden. The wedding cake (carrot cake and almond berry!) was accented with flowers, and cut using a traditional ceremonial Navy sword for a photo-worthy ending to this picture-perfect event.
