Reopening Native Poppy's Mission Valley Studio

Native Poppy Mission Valley

Hi Wild Flowers,

Who remembers the flooding from January 2024? We’ll never forget it, but if you’re new around here, the devastating storms that rolled through San Diego last January left our studio filled with three feet of water, facing damage not only to our flower delivery vehicles, but also destroying our tools, supplies, and merchandise. One year later, we are delighted to announce that we're reopening Native Poppy's Mission Valley Studio – just in time for Valentine's Day!

Last year at this time, our incredible community swooped in to get us back on our feet. Your support – from shopping at our South Park and Solana Beach stores, to your generous donations – helped us fulfill Valentine’s Day orders, restore the studio, and keep our talented team together. It is because of you that we were able to stay in our studio and continue to operate there.

But alas, last year we did not have the bandwidth or resources to repair and restock our little express shop in the front of the studio, or to offer pickups and walk-in service as we had been previously. Although we have been working behind the scenes in our studio space since February of 2024, our motivation in reopening Native Poppy's Mission Valley Studio to the public has come from being able to serve our community in this neighborhood once again.

If you’d like to participate in the reopening of Native Poppy’s Mission Valley studio, you can:

To everyone who rallied behind us through this challenging year - thank you. Your support turned what could have had devastating consequences for Native Poppy into another chapter in our story (albeit a rather rocky one). We're over the moon to celebrate reopening Native Poppy's Mission Valley Studio and hope you’ll stop in to say hi – we've missed you!

-The Native Poppies
